Getting Started

Welcome to the Uxbridge Public Library!

The Uxbridge Public Library has been serving the Township of Uxbridge for over 125 years. Since 1981, the library has been designated a historic building and features one of the most distinctive landmarks of the Town of Uxbridge: the clock tower. The library has two locations; the main branch at 9 Toronto Street South and a second branch in Zephyr.

If you are a resident or worker in the Township of Uxbridge, stop by the library to sign up for a free library card to take advantage of the great services and programs that we offer to our patrons!

If you are a current Uxbridge Public Library patron who would like to know more about borrowing, fines, reserves, requests, renewals, and recommendations, please follow the links in the main menu or call the library at (905) 852‑9747.

The Uxbridge Library provides many services to the public, including free Wi-Fi and computer access, video games for in-library use, eBook and digital Audiobook loans, and a selection of eResources. We also host fun and educational programming for all ages, such as the Genealogy Club, the Summer Reading Program, and Book Clubs for Adults, Tweens, and Teens. See our Services and Programs for more information.
