Borrowing a Title

NOT ONLY BOOKS!  The Uxbridge and Zephyr Public Libraries have an extensive collection of fiction, non-fiction, large print, audiobooks, DVDs, TV Series, magazines, book club sets, puzzles, children’s/family literacy games and STEM kits.

When you are ready to borrow library materials, bring your selections to the circulation desk and present the librarian with your valid Uxbridge/Zephyr Public Library card. If you do not have your library card, you can sign up for one at the desk. Visit Getting a Library Card for more information about membership.

You may borrow a maximum of 50 items at any one time and are further limited to a maximum of 10 DVDs/Blu-rays/TV Series.

Please check the loan period for library materials on your card and ensure that they are returned before the due date in order to avoid fines for late returns.

Returns

During regular operating hours, library materials can be returned at one of the circulation desks. Library materials can also be returned at your convenience through the book drop (located on the lower level next to the red Staff Door).

Digital Loans

Loans from the Uxbridge Public Library’s digital collection are fulfilled by Libby, a free online service that allows you to download eBooks and Audiobooks to a smartphone, tablet, computer, or eReader.

You are not required to return digital titles; when the borrowing period is over, titles will expire and return automatically.
