Wi-Fi

The Uxbridge and Zephyr Public Libraries offer free wireless internet access to members of the public with laptops, smartphones, tablets, and other electronic devices.  All you need is your postal code to join the Guest WiFi.

Library Computers

There is a shared study room located on the lower level of the Uxbridge Branch.  There are five (5) study tables in the room with charging stations.  Three (3) of the tables offer a computer for public use and two (2) of the tables are for patrons who prefer to bring their own device.

There are additional study spots available in the Adult/Young Adult Department on the second level of the Uxbridge Branch.  Two (2) public access computers are available for use on this floor.

There is one (1) public access computer available for library users at the Zephyr Branch.

All computers have connection to the internet as well as Microsoft Office.

Library users are encouraged to check in at the circulation desk located nearest the computer/table they are using.

Genealogy Computers

There are 2 computers located in the Genealogy Department which have access to the Internet and are attached to Microfilm Reader-Printers.  These computers are for Genealogy Research only.

Rules & Restrictions

  • A maximum of two users may be seated at the computer at one time.
  • Library users may print material for $0.20 per page for black and white and $0.50 per page for colour.  When copying on both sides of the page, that is considered to be two copies.
  • Due to the heavy use of the public access computers, access to chat lines and games may be restricted.
  • The Township of Uxbridge Public Library reserves the right to terminate an Internet session at any time.
